Worcester District is one of the largest
Scouting Districts in the Scouting County of Hereford & Worcester. It contains
12 Scout Groups and three Explorer Scout Units covering all of the City of
Worcester as well as the outlying villages of Hallow, Crown East, Powick and
Kempsey.

Representatives
of the leader team for the next World Jamboree in Sweden are visiting
Worcester to give a presentation about the event.
A rousing start to Worcester District’s Scouting Promotional Day was given
by members of the 5th Sea Scout band. They played a full
repertoire and entertained many people in the High Street as well as the
Mayor, Andy Roberts.
The District Carol Service this year will take place on
Monday 7th December with the rehearsal on Saturday 5th December. The host
Group will be 5th Worcester. Please amend your District Calendars
accordingly.
FREE swimming for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and
Explorers(16 and under)
All 16 years
and under can get free swimming at their local swimming baths for up to two
